About CPE Credits
The National Registry of CPE Sponsors is a program offered by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) to recognize CPE program sponsors who provide continuing professional education (CPE) programs in accordance with nationally recognized standards. Many State Boards of Accountancy require CPAs to earn required CPE credits through companies approved on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. The names of approved CPE program sponsors are published here on Learning Market. State Boards of Accountancy and their licensees can refer to this listing to identify and select approved learning providers.
The following is a listing of jurisdictions that accept CPE credits earned through National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State Boards that accept National Registry of CPE Sponsors or QAS Sponsors are not limited to only accepting sponsors from these two registries. Please contact the Board directly for further information about available exemptions.
Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
The guidelines for CPE vary from state-to-state and state boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Please contact your respective state board with any questions you might have regarding their acceptance of credits issued in conjunction with a program sponsor such as Business Planning Group (#115888). Your state or jurisdiction may have additional requirements. For additional information, please go to: http://nasba.org/education/registrystatus/
